When A Man Hits You Once, He'll Hit You Again; Leave The Marriage - Gafah Reacts To Osinachi's Death

The Ghanaian actress and a film producer, Benedicta Gafah have reacted to the Nigerian gospel singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu's death. As many people may have heard the Ekwueme singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu allegedly died of perpetual domestic violence. Reports from friends and family who knows the Osinachi Nwachukwu in person took to social media to react that the husband of the singer has been abusing her continually.

The Kumawood and Ghallywood actress, Benedicta Gafah after coming across this sad news said that there are a lot of women going through this domestic violence in their relationships and marriages but are unwilling to because they claim is part of love. However, the actress said that there is nothing like love in a man hitting a woman. She started once a man hits a lady once, there is a high probability that he will hit her again.

But some ladies think that it will not happen again after the man apologizes. The ladies end up getting deformed or killed in the name of the man will change. The actress, therefore, advised women to quickly leave their relationships or marriages if the man stretch his hands on them. Benedicta Gafah believes that the life of the woman being abused in the relationship or marriage comes first, and not the love or even the children.

This is what she wrote on her official Instagram account:

"Felt heartbroken when I read about the demise of this amazing musician the Ekuweme hitmaker. What got me infuriated and sad was the stories behind her demise. It’s alleged that her husband beat her to death, learned the husband has been arrested by the police. And even some of her colleagues have come out saying she kept on complaining about the husband hitting her several times. I always say this, once a man hits you once he will do it again.

Domestic violence isn’t a sign of love or going through thick and thin in the love story. Please leave the relationship or marriage before it gets too late. Anytime you find yourself in such a horrible situation, please put yourself first, and think about what your family, kids, and loved ones would lose. Because they’re the ones who’ll be burdened with this pain. Forget about the naysayers, you matter and you come first.

Remember it takes two to tango and love isn’t a do-or-die affair .it’s heart-wrenching, reading her story. Do not give any human the chance to deform/kill you or destroy your destiny in the name of love. I pray those in such situations currently do find the strength and courage to leave before it’s too late. May her gentle soul continue to rest in perfect peace. Condolences to her family".
