Singer Osinachi’s Pastor Explains Why He Couldn’t Assist Her To Escape From Her Violent Marriage
After the death of the Nigerian gospel musician, Osinachi Nwachukwu, many people started asking questions that what action did her pastor take during the time that the singer’s husband was maltreating her. This is because, amidst the domestic violence of the husband, Osinachi Nwachukwu was still going to church. Some people even said that the pastor claimed that he hate divorce which is why the singer still stayed in the horrible marriage without divorce.
Well, late Osinachi Nwachukwu’s pastor has finally revealed his side of the story. The name of late Osinachi Nwachukwu’s pastor is Pastor Paul Enenche and the name of his church is Dunamis church. According to him, the late Osinachi Nwachukwu did not gather the courage to tell him ( the Pastor) or the church about the problems she was facing in her marriage.
So typically he has no idea that the musician was going through hell in her marriage. It was after his death that he asked her twin sister who was also in the same church whether she knew something about her sister’s problems in her marriage. The twin sister said that she knew some of the problems but she was also hearing some of the problems from people her sister confined to outside the church.
Pastor Paul Enenche then asked why she couldn’t tell him or any of the leaders of the church. According to her, the gospel musician begged not to tell the pastor or the church because she believed that her husband will change. So actually, the family of late Osinachi Nwachukwu knew that her husband was beating her mercilessly but couldn’t assist because the gospel musician didn’t want people to know what she going through in her marriage.
This is what Pastor Paul Enenche said in the video:
“The news about all the domestic violence Late Osinachi received at the hands of her husband is strange to us. Late sister Osinachi hid the beatings from me her Pastor, and the entire Church, she would tell people who she confided in not to tell me or the Church because she loved her husband so much and believed that he would change one day.
It was after her death that I asked her twin sister whether she knew what her sister was going through in her marriage and she said yes. But couldn’t tell me because her sister begged her not to tell me or any of the leaders in the church because she believed the husband will change”.
