  Some Ghanaian market women have been recorded on camera complaining bitterly about the increase in the price of public toilet fees, urinal fees, and the cost of sachet water. Speaking to a journalist of UTV, one of the market women said that formerly if you are going to defecate at the public toilet with used graphic paper, the price was 60 Ghana pesewas. However, the price has now been increased to GH¢1.00. People who prefer to use toilet rolls are charged GH¢1.50 anytime that visit public toilets. If you want to urinate at the marketplace, you will be charged 50 Ghana pesewas before you will be allowed to urinate at a convenient place. The price of sachet water has also been increased to 40 Ghana pesewas per sachet.
