Ejisu: Check Out How A Driver Put People's Lives In Peril By Dragging A Timber Across The Street

It is mostly long vehicles that are normally use to transport logs of timber from one location to the other. An excavator or a forklift machine is never meant to be use to transport timber on a major road.

However, looking at the images in this article, you can see a forklift machine carrying a log of timber across the street. According to the person who posted this video online, this incident took place yesterday, 24th January 2022, in Ejisu, Ashanti Region.

Because the machine was carrying timber across the road and not along, the timber was touching some traders stores by the roadside. This made some of the traders to run away leaving their goods behind. The forklift machine itself was shaking because the timber was not given it the balance it needed.

With any little mistake, the timber could have fall on people by the street and kill innocent souls. Some Ghanaians after coming across this video got shocked by the attitude of the driver. They argued that this kind of lawlessness can only happen in Ghana where most civilians have not regard for road safety regulations.

Some Ghanaians also called on the government, the Ghana Highway Authority, and the Minister for Road and Highway to take a look at how some drivers are disobeying road safety regulations just because there are not proper checks on our road.
