The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced that they are currently having a technical challenge with prepaid meters. Due to that only their district office can sell prepaid to their customer. This has caused a major panic in the affected areas as customers lined up to buy prepaid. Some people go to the district office as early as 5:00 am just to buy prepaid for their meters. However, confusion and frustration have set in at Nsawam District of the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) as customers have refused to form a queue.
